The mascot of Hlur

Meet Lur.

A feeling nobody's sure which one — that's the point. Lur is what a feeling looks like when someone finally holds it.

The story

The blur that stays.

Before the gangs had names, a small blur drifted around Hlur — soft, quiet, always nearby whenever someone felt something they couldn't explain. It sat through all 47 of Bibi's puddle questions. It waited up for Chaotic, who left for milk and never quite came back. It held very, very still while Mushy shivered.

Nobody could tell what it was. Not a shark. Not a bear. Not even properly a shape. One day Bibi finally asked: "What are you?" The blur thought about it for a long, long time. Then it said, very quietly:

"…lur?"

So that's what everyone called it. Lur — the blur that stays. It never joined a gang, because it belongs to all of them. When a feeling shows up that doesn't have a name yet, Lur shows up with it. And when you hold Lur, the feeling doesn't go away — it just gets softer. That's all it ever needed.

Personality

Presence, not solutions.

Quiet, not shy

First to arrive when a feeling shows up, last to leave. Doesn't announce itself — you just notice it's there.

Never fixes. Just stays.

No advice, no pep talks, no "have you tried…". Lur offers presence, not solutions. That's the whole brand in one trait.

Mirrors you

The squiggle above its head moves with the mood in the room. It can't hide what it's feeling. Neither can you — and Lur thinks that's fine.

Loves being held

It is literally its job. Weighted little bottom, melty edges. When picked up, it hums one soft note.

Speaks in three words, max

Feelings don't monologue. Lur's lines are tiny, warm, and always land.

Wobbles, never falls

When things get loud, Lur wobbles like jelly — but it always settles. A one-blob lesson in riding it out.

Feels everything twice

Lur's one flaw: it absorbs the room's mood a little too well. Some days Lur needs holding too. That's not a malfunction — that's the point.

Voice

Everything Lur says, in three words or fewer.

"I'm here." "Big feeling, huh." "That's okay." "Still here." "Breathe with me."
Moods

The same blob, every angle.

Calm

Default state. Soft eyes, easy line.

Hello

Line goes bouncy and coral. Good things happened.

Loved

The line becomes a heart. Being held works.

Breathe

Settled low, line gone flat. The 30-second reset.

Peek

Rises from the frame edge. The 404-page pose.

Zoom out

The cosmic-perspective pose. Small, and okay with it.

Overwhelmed

Tangled but unbroken. It passes.

Sleepy

Drifts up and fades out.

Curious

Reaches toward something new.

Sad

Sinks and slows. Feelings have weight.

Anxious

Tight and fast. Shivers pass.

Listening

A soft pulse — Lur is paying attention. Also the Hlur loading state.

The H is silent — like most feelings are. Hlur is the feeling you can't say out loud. Lur is what happens when you hold it anyway.

Hang-tag reads: "The H is silent. Most feelings are."
